Nancy Lee Sánchez www.kaplanedfoundation.org is the Executive Director for the Kaplan Educational Foundation which is responsible for the design and implementation of the Kaplan Leadership Program, a community college to four-year model, which focuses on developing the whole student for four year college programs, while preparing them for a lifetime of socially conscious leadership. Nancy joins us to discuss the importance of community college to widen the access and pipeline for immigrants and financially compromised students. Our discussion centers the premise- Education is a Civil Right and a necessary component to success.
