This week we are continuing our story about the Stikini – Part 2.

Last episode, we explored the Seminole origins of this terrifying owl-like being, the legends of transformation, and the powerful warnings that still ripple through Native oral traditions today. But now, things get weirder. This time, Joseph, RedBear, and Gabe dig deeper into the blood-chilling reality of the Stikini’s transformation, what it really means when owls appear out of nowhere, and why some stories say just speaking its name can mark you for death.

We’re talking vomited souls, dangling organs, shapeshifting, spiritual codes, and why some tribes say owls are messengers of death… while others see them as wise protectors. You’ll also hear about the creatures people have confused with the Stikini—like the Mothman, Thunderbird, Pisa Bird, and a terrifying giant owl some cryptozoologists believe is stalking the forests right now.

So if you missed Part 1, go listen. If you’re ready for the kind of truth that’ll make you double-check your trees tonight, hit play and hang on. This is Nightmares of the Americas: Indigenous Tales.
