Another grisly murder raises more questions for Tripp. And navigating the search for suspects in the small town he grew up in proves difficult, as he’s forced to take a closer look at friends and acquaintances. Weeks pass, and lack of evidence, coupled with forensic testing hampered by the Chicago bombings, taking priority at the state’s testing lab over the obscure murders in the small farming town – put Tripp at a steep disadvantage.
