Donegal Senator claims Residents of Leagan have bog water flowing through their taps

It's claimed that some people in Donegal getting nothing better than bog water through their taps.

The issue is said to be affecting the townland of Leagan near Inver for over 20 years and centres on the local group water scheme in need of an upgrade.

A funding application has already been submitted for the area to be included in the nationally water programme but there's said to be little progress to date.

Speaking in the Seanad, Fine Gael Senator Manus Boyle says the water they're supposed to drink is black and in this day in age it's simply not good enough:
