What happens when someone is excited about their encounter with Jesus and runs to tell a friend? What happens when we meet the Lord and realize anew that He sees and knows us?

The Open Doors Lent 2025 series begins with talk of Nathaniel who voiced the now-famous question, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?”

But once Nathaniel meets Jesus, his tune changes and he says, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”

“The invitation and the yes to the invitation is so much greater than we may even realize,” says Jacqueline.

Jenn makes a significant comparison between Jacob of the Old Testament and Jesus, based upon the words of Nathaniel.
And Lisa shares what she learned about the meaning of the phrase, “Under the Fig Tree.”

Jesus is El Roi – the God who sees. He sees us and helps us to see truth more clearly. Jenn exclaims, “He’s our bi-focals!!”

Listen now, and see for yourself!
