Have you ever been caught up in the movement of a crowd? Sometimes this is literal, physical movement that pushes you in a direction. But crowds can move us in other types of directions as well. We can be swayed to change our beliefs, our morals, or the way we treat people. This sermon looks at Luke 11:14-36. In this passage Jesus interacts with a crowd of people made up of different groups. Some are amazed at the spectacle of what he does. Others are skeptical of his teaching. Others are even slanderous and say things against Jesus. We see how he interacts with these groups and are challenged to think about whether we are just following the crowd or if we are willing to break out of the crowd and follow Christ.
