The UNI Panther Football team started their season with a resounding 38-14 win over the Butler Bulldogs. UNI held a 17-14 lead at the half then shut out Butler in the second, scoring TDs on their first three drives of the second half. Matt Scheckleman threw for a career high 4 touchdowns. Jonathan Cabral-Martin led the way defensively with four pass break ups and an interception. Panthers hit the road to take on Mountain West Conference foe Wyoming next week.
