Ben and Craig talk to Professor Max Watson, consultant in Palliative Medicine in the Western Health and Social Care Trust in Omagh. He has played a pivotal role in developing the European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care, which has trained over 20,000 clinicians worldwide. Max also directs Project ECHO at Hospice UK, facilitating collaborative networks to enhance care quality. An accomplished author and editor of the Oxford Handbook of Palliative and End of Life Care, he was recognised with an MBE in 2024 for his contributions to palliative care medicine. He is a member of Dungannon Presbyterian Church in the Presbytery of Tyrone.

The Living and Dying Well Hub is now available on the Presbyterian Church in Ireland website. It includes a variety of resources, such as articles to read, a link to the Northern Ireland Assembly's Committee for Health consultation on assisted dying, podcast episodes from the Church in the Public Square series, as well as public statements and news articles from the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
