Have you ever noticed how walking outside with your bare feet in the grass makes you feel different, or the sunshine on your face, or just simply paying attention to the patterns in nature? Being in nature can calm our bodies, and when we are calm, it is easier for us to connect with the Lord and to pray.
In this episode of Persistence in Prayer, I am joined by my good friend Colleen Ritz. She is a Catholic wife and mother of six with a passion for holistic health. She's a degreed herbalist and a certified women's health coach. She has a passion for working with herbs and holistic lifestyle changes to help women feel their best so that they can glorify God in all that they do.
We are exploring the link between how we care for our bodies and how we connect with the Lord in a way that is natural. So when we feel too tired to pray, when we feel overwhelmed, whether you have kids at home creating chaos, or you're in the workplace, or maybe it's just all the mental clutter.
We are going to talk about natural ways that you can learn to regulate your body so that you can care for this holy temple, but also grow in your spiritual life. So stick around.
