Have you ever wondered how to truly hear God’s voice—and more importantly, how to follow it when He speaks? It’s one thing to desire His guidance, but stepping out in obedience can feel scary, uncertain, or even confusing.

In today’s episode of Perspectives Into Practice, I’m joined by my dear friend Amanda, who has such a powerful heart for the Lord. (Oh, and fun fact—you might not know this, but she was once a figure skater! ⛸)

Amanda shares her journey of learning to recognize God’s voice, including a moment when the Holy Spirit prompted her to clean a parking lot—a seemingly small act of obedience that led to something much bigger. We talk about:

✨ The first time she truly recognized God speaking to her.
✨ What it felt like to obey when it didn’t make sense.
✨ The amazing ways God moved as a result of that obedience.
✨ Practical ways you can grow in hearing and following His voice.

If you’ve ever struggled with knowing whether it’s really God speaking or wondered how to move from just hearing to actually following, this conversation is for you.

And don’t forget—this is just Part 1 of our conversation! Be sure to tune in next time, when Amanda and I talk about what happens after obedience—how surrendering control leads to true freedom.
