His breakthrough came with major success, most notably the six-week #1 country hit "Rock and a Hard Place" by Bailey Zimmerman. This song debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, marking the second-highest debut for all of 2022, and also reached No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. He also contributed to Zimmerman's "House On Fire" and other tracks like "New To Country" and "Chase Her."
Beyond his work with Bailey Zimmerman, Heath Warren has garnered numerous "cuts" (songs recorded by other artists) with a diverse range of musicians. His credits include "Something You Ain't Ever Had" by country duo Waterloo Revival, as well as songs for artists such as Nate Smith, Chase Rice, Tyler Braden, David J, Eric Van Houten, Joe Haydel, Colbie Caillat, After Midtown, Belles, Willie Morrison, and Josh Ross.
In March 2023, Warner Chappell Music signed a global publishing agreement with Heath Warren, solidifying his position as a sought-after songwriter in the industry. His dedication to his craft and his collaborative spirit are evident in his approach to songwriting, where he often works with other talented individuals to create impactful music.
ROTUNDO:
ROTUNDO is a compelling singer-songwriter making his mark in the Nashville country music scene. Originally from Ohio, his journey to music took a unique path, rooted in a hobby of singing and playing piano that he pursued as a child.
After graduating high school, ROTUNDO served four years on active duty in the US Army. It was during his final year of service that his passion for music re-ignited, leading him to teach himself guitar and begin writing songs. This period of self-discovery laid the groundwork for his eventual move to Nashville to pursue music full-time.
Prior to launching his solo career, ROTUNDO was part of the country duo After Midtown. With After Midtown, he gained significant experience touring alongside established artists such as Florida Georgia Line, HARDY, Billy Currington, Kip Moore, and Mitchell Tenpenny, among others. This time on the road allowed him to hone his stage presence and further develop his artistry.
In 2023, ROTUNDO shifted his focus to a solo career, emphasizing his roots as a singer-songwriter and blending traditional country storytelling with modern production. He describes his sound as "Screen-door R&B," which reflects his ability to infuse country themes with pop, alt-rock, and R&B influences, creating a unique and captivating soundscape. He attributes his diverse sound to growing up both on his grandparents' farm and in a small-town suburb, where listening to various genres was embraced.
ROTUNDO quickly made an impact, signing a publishing deal with Curb|Word in 2023. He has been actively releasing new music, including his debut solo single "Break Even," co-written with Brian Bunn and Rose Falcon, and his debut album "We Were Desperados." His songs often feature clever wordplay and double entendre hooks, showcasing his lyrical prowess.
