As our party orients themselves from being transported to the mysterious island of Sanctuary....they are about to find out exactly what they are in for... RECAP: Thibault Von Fig, a Loxodon obsessed with root veggies, Vibrant Jewel, a tabaxi trying to become a star in the big city, and Eve Merrick, a paladin of Mystra hoping to impress her goddess, finally got their break. For 2 years they have searched for the missing grung frog-folk Ebb, a friend, a family member, and a lover to different members of the party. Yesterday, their search took a turn, when a mysterious note told them to Win the Centrapoint Games, a competition held in Watereeep funded by the technology company Centrapoint Mechanics. They did do so, flying above the city to the Font of Knowledge and competing in the Elite Prayer Triples- securing them an invitation to the Victor’s Ball. There, they explored the centrapoint facilities, met a strange harengon a rabbit folk who handed Vibrant a mysterious green stone, and discovered a receipt for a delivery, to the Argenium, TerRana. As the founder of Centrapoint, a human named Anton Sepharin, stepped onto a platform to make a speech, a giant cake was wheeled out onto the showroom floor. Suddenly, the lights turned off. And with a passionate scream of “Libertas Bestia!” an ambush began. Leading it, a figure who looked almost exactly like their missing friend, who revealed themselves to be Ebb’s brother. While fighting off Centrapoint guards, the grung and the harengon manage to get the party set up on one of the Centrapoint devices, which unexpectedly transported them to a strange new world… Here, facing out to a sunlit plaza, they see animal-folk arriving on ships at docks, and a town made up of animal-kin of all kinds.
