As our party wakes up to shouting...they need to find a way to escape the invaded town... FULL RECAP: Last we met, our party landed their balloon on the sands of Das Kihoj, land of the elephant folk, the Loxodon. Rushing unconscious Eve into the library for help, they unexpectedly reunited with their long lost friend, Ebb, who encouraged them to lie about who they were to each other. Pretending to be a troupe of writers and actors researching a new play, they met Eyta, a young Loxodon who had been helping Ebb search for what he needed over the past few days. But they sensed that Eyta had more than a mere working relationship to Ebb… Through books, they discovered more about Shekinester and the community of Yuan-ti who transformed Eve. And when they rushed upstairs to share that information, they were told by Doctor Jana to retrieve ingredients for a concoction that may help her. Thibault, Eyta, and Vibrant headed toward the fields to grab yellow root, where Thibault met the first worshiper of Taro he had ever met. Maple-Jean and Ebb rushed to the beach for some seaweed, where they discussed privately about the intricacies of Ebb’s situation. After retrieving what they needed and returning to the infirmary, Eve awoke with a start. She came face to face with her new serpentine body. After some support and calming from her party, she heard a noise. Click, click, click. And from behind a curtain, a figure appeared in snakeskin clothing that only Eve seemed to see. Eve shouted at her to leave her alone, and after a short exchange, she did. After tensions settled, the party made their way to the beach and for the first time in 2 years, they sat together, fully together, and began to make a plan. Ebb revealed he had heard tell of a way to revive Mother Essi, which he believes will put an end to the fighting on Sanctuary. But in order to do that, they needed more research, hidden away in the Collection on the second floor of the library. They decided tomorrow they would find what they needed. But in the middle of the night Eyta carried out her plan. She broke into The Collection, finding a strange book about “The Sanctuary Song” and more information on Taro, Thibaults goddess. She slid both of these things underneath Ebb’s door and took off into the night in a balloon. Later that night, the party hears a noise, yelling from outside in the courtyard.
