In this week’s episode of Politics in the Pulpit, our host, Matt Forsyth, chats to Catriona Robertson, and is joined by JPIT member Steve Summers.

Born & raised in the Scottish Highlands, Catriona Robertson has worked in India, the South Pacific and London. She once travelled with her teenage son across North Africa, the Middle East and on to Pakistan. Formerly Director of the Christian Muslim Forum, she has been involved in interreligious work and its links to public policy for 25 years. Catriona has now returned to London after a few years living in community as warden of Iona Abbey. She continues to be involved in the life of the Iona Community, in particular its work for peace, justice & the renewal of worship.

Matt, Catriona and Steve discuss preaching on the lectionary readings for Sunday 17th November, which are: 1 Samuel 1:4-20, Hebrews 10:11-14, (15-18), 19-25, Mark 13:1-8, and 1 Samuel 2:1-10.
