Parenting is not an easy job. Individuals have different parenting styles as well as personailty types. When an individual is raised by a parent that may have an addiction, mental health issue or personality disorder such can be very challenging. Individuals don't have the ability to choose their parents however, surviving childhood should not have to be difficult.
