We have examined the Christian creed of the Trinity as it has been handed down since the earliest centuries. Our previous episode focused on the historical decisions that affected this doctrine beginning with the Roman Empire. In this episode we discuss the Trinity from the Biblical Narrative. Our integral approach to the Narrative interprets Identity in relationship with theology not Christology. Christology is revealed as role and function in the story. We must also remember that Christology is both individual (Jesus of Nazareth) as well as collective (The Body). So we’ll look at the nature of both Jesus and the body from an aspect of unity and oneness.
