Luis Cuende (@licuende on Twitter) is a Spanish computer programmer, author, and blockchain entrepreneur. He is co-founder of Aragon and CEO of Aragon One. Career: In 2008 at age 12, Cuende started his first free software project, a Linux-based operating system. At just 15 years old, HackFwd named him “Best Underage European Programmer." At the age of 17, he was an advisor to Neelie Kroes, then the European Commissioner for Digital Agenda. In November 2015, he cofounded Stampery, which leverages the Bitcoin blockchain to generate an immutable record of existence, integrity and ownership of any data or communication. Cuende and his cofounders secured $600,000 in pre-seed funding, led by Draper Associates for the venture. In 2011, at age 16 he was awarded the top hacker award in his country of Europe. In January 2016, he was the youngest to be on the Forbes 30 under 30 category in technology.
