Jesus was a man. He felt pain just as we do. And yet He suffered excruciating pain on the cross because of His love for us. Even though we were not born when He was crucified, He still looked down through time and loved us despite our faults. Because of that love, He died in our place. He called us His friends. What a friend we have in Jesus! We must never be too busy to stop and praise God for the gift of His Son.
