In a shocking and heartbreaking case that raises serious questions about prison policies, 62-year-old Stephanie Dowells, an accomplished businesswoman, mother, and woman of faith, was strangled to death during an unsupervised conjugal visit at Mule Creek State Prison in California. Her husband? David Brinson, a man serving four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for the cold-blooded execution of four men in a 1990 robbery.
