Opening Bible verse: Matthew 27:26

Jesus was scourged at the pillar for the sins of all of our ancestors, us and our descendants. He had the weight of all the sins ever committed and to be committed weighing on his shoulders.

When we are faced with an overwhelming amount of debt, it too can feel like the weight of the world is on our shoulders. When every month seems to bring another surprise blow to the budget, it's like we can't get up...ever.

In today's podcast episode, I give you 2 easy places to begin when digging out of debt.

1. You need a zero dollar budget. This means every dollar your household brings in, is accounted for in your budget.

2. You need to save $1,000 for a starter emergency fund.

Don't keep living with the weight of the world on your shoulders, Jesus did that for us. He wants you to live in abundance and freedom. Begin today with a budget.
