Richard Spiers is a claims consultant who’s developed and presented training programs for a variety of industry clients for 25 years. In this episode he shares the main factors in what type of media captures the greatest attention, specifically in cases around police shootings. Race, demographics of the community, how many shots fired, the timeliness in releasing video footage as well as prior records all have an important role with influencing community and public opinion of the defendant and plaintiff.
