Immigration EOs and Two Examples of How Not to Resist
Manage episode 473763695 series 3343405
Welcome to today's episode of Queer PoliFaith! Today, we are going to look at a bunch of executive orders or memoranda about immigration.
But before we get to that, I address a couple of other topics. First, I talk about Chuck Schumer and 9 other Democratic Senators betraying the Democratic Party and the country by working with the Republicans on a truly horrific funding bill. I also talk about how Fetterman is better compared to Sinema than Manchin.
Then, I turn to Jasmine Crockett and her use of ableist language against Greg Abbott and why we need to not use language like this when attacking people. Please listen carefully and consider your words and actions in the future.
If you want to read the EOs, you can go to https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/ and look there. If this doesn't work for you, follow these steps:
[1] Go to https://www.whitehouse.gov and click on the two lines in the upper left hand corner.
[2] Click on "News" and then on "Presidential Actions".
Our next episode will be a joint episode with Queerly Popular and will be about the 1990s TV show Babylon 5.
