The story follows the life of Jideofor during the transatlantic slave trade era, from Illah in Western Igbo lands down to Jamaica, through a rich tale of dreams, death, destiny and the afterlife. The full length novel was expanded from his short story of the same name that had won runner-up at the Goge Africa 20th Anniversary Writing Competition in 2020.
