The US has launched a formal review of the AUKUS submarine deal between with Australia and the United Kingdom over concerns the pact no longer aligns with US strategic priorities.
The move comes as both Australia and the UK face pressure from the White House to lift military spending, as conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine boil over.
