Australia's labour productivity growth rate has slowed to its lowest level in at least 20 years.
The Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers has named productivity as his priority for Labor's second term in government with a roundtable announced — to canvass the way forward.
But what exactly is productivity and why is it so hard to correct the course?
