This week on Toilet Radio we’re talking with Jonas Renkse of sad boi legends Katatonia! We were just talking about these guys! Jordan and Jonas talk about only wanting to listen to sad music, concerns for visa troubles when attempting to tour the United States, making the transition from death metal vocals to actual singing, taking on newer, younger band members, and warming up with Ratt and Quiet Riot. It’s a great interview, skip to 24 minutes in to hear it. ALSO on the show: Brent Hinds left Mastodon after 25 years and now doesn’t have anything kind to say about his old crew. Sharon is beefing with bands again as her opportunity to do so rapidly closes forever. Ronnie Radke is cancelling-cancelling WHO? It’s Predator vs. Predator as his new schtick is dropping dimes on smaller musicians that are just as gross and predatory as he is. Whoever wins, we lose. Folks, it’s a good one.

Music featured on this show:
Katatonia –Wind of No Change
