April is Autism Awareness month. As you may know, one in 36 children have been identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. Talking about not only how to understand but how we can help these amazing kids has never been more important. In this episode, we’ve got a wise parent in the trenches, who also happens to be Sissy’s step-sister helping us learn more about what we can do to support the kids and families in our lives who are living with this diagnosis.
