One of the internal applications that we use is Alfresco Community Edition. I got a notification that a particular folder on my Windows server for our internal applications was getting bigger than one would expect it to be. So I archived all but the current logs, and then set out to update the log4j properties file to change the logging level from "info" or "debug" (where not commented out) to "warn" (I left the "error" flags alone, and didn't see any "fatal" flags).
