Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this fellow is? He’s the British comic actor Joe Miller who lived from 1684 to 1738. So, since he’s not a musician or composer, why is he featured on this week’s playlist? Well, Joe Miller is mentioned in the lyrics of one of the songs in the first segment of the show, which features three records by Bert Williams. You’ll find out a little bit about Joe Miller in the back announce. In other segments, we’ll have a vocabulary lesson, don our finest blue gown, celebrate Lee S. Roberts’ birthday and generally make a mess of things. There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era. Just click the link above to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience.

THANKS FOR LISTENING! ENJOY THE SHOW!
