Manage episode 478266060 series 3429995
Corey Cockerill will be the first inaugurated female president of Wilmington College tomorrow. Randy Sarvis, their amazing PR Director, gave us an exclusive interview with her before the big day!
We learn about her life growing up in rural Knox County, being a journalist in Chillicothe, meeting her husband at 4H camp, and owning her own coffee roasting business that she later sold to Kava Haus.
Corey also shared the college’s vision for a new agricultural and equestrian center on Fife Road in 2028, as well as a strategic plan for an even greater partnership with the local Wilmington community.
This is not an episode you want to miss! Plus, stay tuned this summer for ‘Part 2 of 2’ once Corey gets more settled in—and gets access to all the secret rooms.
