Buying a charming 1912 fixer-upper sounded romantic—until the bathroom door opened itself, heavy footsteps prowled the halls, and the family Great Dane growled at thin air – it seems some houses never really let you live alone. Things got worse: a midnight TV power-off nobody ordered, and a bedroom closet door that shook like it wanted a rematch with gravity—before creaking open on absolutely nothing at all. Add one blood-curdling scream from upstairs and a minute-long door-quake, and you’ve got a couple who learned there’s a mortgage… and then there’s whatever still thinks it owns the place.
