Our storyteller grew up sparring with his father over whether psychic moments or ghosts could be real, despite many small, uncanny connections they shared. Then his dad passed on 11/11, and strange comfort followed: a perfect heart-shaped gap in a bank of November clouds just as grief overwhelmed him, and a vivid dream in which his father stepped close, spoke in a favorite Elmer-Fudd voice, and said a gentle “Bye, boy.” Weeks later, the storyteller’s brother revealed he’d had the same dream. In this episode, we explore how quiet signs—shared dreams, sky-written symbols—can soften loss and suggest love endures beyond farewell.
