Bonjour listeners! Welcome our artificial hosts who take you on an interesting journey.

This is an experiment episode where our hosts talk about a group of students at SPJIMR are creating a chatbot using the Gemini API and Streamlit to improve student experience on the Ekosh Moodle LMS.

  1. They identified challenges students face with assignment submission, course feedback, and class calendars.
  2. Their prototype aims to resolve these issues by enabling students to upload assignments, chat with the chatbot about the content, and receive relevant information specific to their courses and assignments.
  3. The chatbot includes features like course-specific interaction, file upload and processing, chat context, session management, and a user-friendly interface with custom styling.
  4. They have developed two versions: one with general conversation capabilities about submitted documents, and another with role-specific capabilities focused on assignment assistance.
