Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a topic or theme along with my take on current happenings in the world of tabletop role-playing games and semi regular updates on the games I am currently involved with, or new games or products I have come across.

With my most recent game wrapped up for my home group (Sailors on the Starless Sea), I am now planning to pivot and introduce elements of a living campaign world of my own creation - the same setting I have used since I started DMing. I have some built up lore over the years of play in that setting, but after a long hiatus, I can't just throw everyone back into it. I need to get the players used to some of the concepts of a living world and an older school style of play. I go over my current actions and plans to pivot and what my future goal looks like from here. Tune in to hear about my DCC quest board idea as a first step and how that connects to the end goal.

If you would like to reach out, you can reach me at [email protected] - I would love to hear from you!
