Brain Trauma and Miscarriage with Jamieé Arroyo
Manage episode 444253530 series 3418629
Approximately 1 in 8 pregnancies will result in a loss. It is so much more common than people think and many of us suffer in silence when it occurs. If you have been following Reproductive Rebel for a while you know that I've been very open about my journey through loss to let others know 1) they are not alone and 2) there is healing and light down the tunnel after a loss.
I am so blessed to have Jamiee Arroyo of @hopewellfamilycare on with me this week. She and I have that shared experience with loss and she had offered a reel right around the time of my last loss in 2021 that talked about the brain trauma symptoms that show up with a loss. I hadn't even realized this was a thing but the reel spoke to every one of the symptoms I was experiencing and I just knew I HAD to have her on the show.
Whether you or someone you love have experienced a loss - please share this episode with others. We need to eliminate the stigma that we are to suffer in silence. There are resources and practitioners out there with open hearts and arms to help you through this dark time in your life. You are not alone.
