Galatians 5 tells us that the deeds of the flesh are unmistakable, including enmities, strife, disputes, dissensions and factions.

When inevitable conflict arises in the workplace, our homes or church, our response should not be the same as the world.

Christians should never make ourselves enemies of others. But even if we don't resort to hatred and enmity, we can be tempted to resolve our issues by less-than-biblical means.

We can try to manipulate, deceive or exaggerate to get our way. How does a redemptive leader bring peacemaking to his role?

The biblical resolution to conflict in an evil world is the peace we have with Christ. We're called to step up to conflict and engage it in such a way that Christ becomes honoured through the struggle.

James 3:18 says, "Righteous fruit is sown in peace." When we bring peace to conflict, the result is righteous fruit.
