- Step 1: Identify the Narrator’s Tone Ask: What tone does your self-talk usually have? Is it critical? Doubtful? Sarcastic? Loving?
- Step 2: Catch the Script in Action Example: You spill coffee and instantly think, “I’m such an idiot.” STOP. That’s the narrator.
- Step 3: Flip the Line New Script: “That was an accident. Everyone makes mistakes. Let’s keep going.”
