In an emergency we tend to take higher risk to stay alive. This tends to result in us willing to do or partake of extremely risky behavior.

Problem with eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, especially in an emergency. Better to stick with the righteousness of God instead of experimenting with unproven methods. You may receive some positive outcome, but the evil that will result is unknow, and how evil it will be, who knows; the hope is that the good out ways the evil.

Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil… 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
