Changing Australia: Corey Tutt and the power of Indigenous STEM
Manage episode 490660657 series 5428
If you were to speak with Corey Tutt even for just a few minutes, you'd come away with a sense that his drive is never-ending.
As a child, he developed a love of STEM but he felt little encouragement to pursue a career in the area.
Now he's embraced the sciences and has made it his focus to get more First Nations children engaged.
By 2018 he founded Indigenous STEM charity Deadly Science...which today reaches thousands of students, including children in juvenile justice centres.
Guest: Corey Tutt, founder and CEO of Deadly Science, author and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Western Sydney
