Electricity prices are set to jump in several states from July - with the Australian Energy Regulator today confirming increases of up to 9.7 per cent for residential customers in New South Wales.
The regulator says increases in wholesale, retail, network and environmental costs - especially in New South Wales - are behind the decision.
