A US judge says the Trump administration has violated a court order by deporting a group of men to South Sudan -- a country currently ravaged by conflict.

Federal Judge Brian Murphy says the eight migrants were not given a meaningful opportunity to object to their deportation.

He has also directed the government to "maintain custody and control" of anyone deported to South Sudan. So what will happen next?
