Michigan has long been a hub for some of the greatest music ever heard worldwide, and today’s guests are carrying that legacy forward. Meet The Gasoline Gypsies, Michigan’s very own Americana rock trailblazers. With at least eight Detroit Music Awards to their name, they’ve firmly established themselves as one of the most dynamic acts in the Midwest. Their latest single, “Mud in the Water,” has gone viral, racking up over a million views on Facebook, 400,000+ on YouTube, and 140,000+ streams on Spotify in 2024.
But it's not just their chart-topping hits that make them stand out. What really sets them apart is their passionate and loyal fanbase, The Vagabundos, a community of music lovers who travel far and wide to experience the band's unforgettable energy. Known for their electrifying live performances, the Gasoline Gypsies blend four-part harmonies, dueling lead guitars, and a rock-solid rhythm section that keeps audiences coming back for more.
The band consists of Joe Makowski on percussion, Steve Briere on bass and vocals, Neal Love on guitar and vocals, Conner Williams on keys and vocals, and frontman Caleb Malooley on guitar, lead vocals, and harmonica. And of course, a very dedicated management team, Jack and Nancy Hunger.
Together, they create a sound that matches the tone of their storytelling, making their songs resonate with listeners. The Gasoline Gypsies are more than just a band, they’re a force of nature, delivering the undeniable magic of live performance every time they hit the stage.
