In this episode we discuss John Cheeks, a man who thought he had the winning lottery numbers after checking his ticket on the DC Lottery website and seeing that they matched, the prize amount was for a whopping $340 million.
However, the ticket was repeatedly denied when Cheeks tried to redeem the prize. He was eventually told by the D.C. Office of Lottery and Gaming that the numbers posted online were a mistake. Now John is suing Powerball and a couple of other agencies that run the lottery.
