Let's talk RV water filters. Let's first ask, do you just purchase the blue charcoal canisters from Amazon, or the local Walmart or RV shop? We are here to say, don't!
Here's why... Did you know that those blue water filtration canisters only filter down to 20 microns? With that, most water born pathogens are less than 10 microns!
That's why, we recommend you ditch the blue charcoal canister filters and invest in a better water filtration system. The one we have is a 2-stage system; stage 1 filters to 5 microns and stag 2 filters to 1 micron!
These filters last a lot longer as well - up to 3 months! And you can buy them in bulk. The filters are also environmentally friendly using coconut husk which is an excellent water filtration source.
Tune in to hear what else we have to say about water filtration!
