Join Sacred Sons Co-Founder Adam Jackson as he sits with Vela Giri, a Vietnam War veteran, devoted meditation practitioner, and elder in our Sacred Sons community. Vela has spent years supporting veterans in their return home not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally - guiding them through the long-neglected path of reintegration. Speaking to the essence of what lives in a soldier’s heart, Vela brings deep presence, clarity, and hard-won wisdom to this conversation.
Together, Adam and Vela explore the critical importance of establishing a protocol for integrating soldiers back into society- a need that remains painfully unmet in this country, where we lose 44 veterans a day to suicide. While they briefly touch on the potential of psychedelic therapy, the conversation moves deeper into the power of meditation as a tool for healing, remembering, and reclaiming one’s life. They speak of moving beyond default reality programming, breaking free from societal conditioning, and consciously creating a new reality grounded in truth and inner knowing.
This episode is an invitation into the heart of a returned warrior and elder to feel, to remember, and to return home to who we truly are.
