Derek Fields Questions from the Listening Audience: The First Episode Without a Guest
Manage episode 407886801 series 3536988
In this episode, Derek is without a guest for the first time. Will he be able to handle the podcast all by himself? Who knows? But you have an opportunity to listen in as he answers questions from listeners and followers on his social media regarding therapy and his work as a therapist for the last nearly 11 years.
In this episode, he addresses four (4) questions:
1. I know we only have 45-50 minutes in a therapy session, and I only get to see my therapist once a week. What do they think about me between sessions?
2. When you mention Process vs. Content, it seems like you don’t care about my experiences. Surely you aren’t saying that. So what are you saying?
3. Can therapists really withhold judgment?
4. How do you get over the belief you’re fundamentally broken to the core?

A special thank you to Melissa Reagan for providing the voice talent over the episode theme music.
