Scandinavian Crimes (w/ Devante & Delila)

Year(s) of Incident: July 3rd, 1988
Location: Norway
Missing Person/Cold Case: Disappearance of Therese Johannessen
Victim(s): 1
Method: Abduction, Missing Person

On July 3, 1988, nine-year-old Therese Johannessen (Yo-hah-ness-en) vanished without a trace from Drammen (Drah-men), Norway. She had been playing outside near her home, just like any other summer evening, but when night fell, she never returned. Despite an immediate and extensive search operation, she was never found. Over the years, multiple theories emerged but for decades, the case remained unsolved, leaving her family without closure.

Her disappearance quickly became one of Norway’s most high-profile missing persons cases. It led to the most extensive criminal investigation in Norwegian history.
