How did life on earth start? Even the simplest cells are extremely complex. With thousands of molecules involved that have to be in just the right conformation, concentration, and sequence, just getting all the necessary parts of a cell together is an impossible feat. But even if you had all of this, the cell wouldn't be alive. What would it take for the cell to start living? What would it take to stay alive? How probable is it for this to happen by chance?
