Brian Kelley is one of my best friends and former soccer teammates. While playing collegiate soccer at Trinity College, he transitioned from his athletic endeavors as a varsity athlete to another passion of his: music. He’s now a professional DJ and music producer who goes by the stage name BKAYE. We talk about that shift in priorities from soccer to music, some fun and wild stories from the journey in the industry, and the goals he has for his music. I love hearing about his hope to produce songs that provide a stamp in time for his listeners and the vibe he’s trying to put off. And I think you will too. Enjoy.
