As a factory owner in southern India, my friend Joseph leads a rich and rewarding life as a successful businessman, husband, father, and devout Catholic. Our conversation will cover what it was like to meet and work with me as a naive but ambitious customer trying to sell Joseph's rubber products to retailers like Costco and Walmart; how his home state of Kerela has virtually eliminated homelessness in a country with widespread poverty; and how Joseph's grandfather and extended family came to embrace Catholicism in a country with strong Hindu and Islamic beliefs.
